Higher torque now on high volume ZSK
The latest ZSK series twin screw compounder from Coperion has improved further on the ZSK MEGAvolume. The ZSK MEGAcompounder machines are co-rotating, closely intermeshing twin screw extruders. The MEGAvolume was introduced as a complementary design with uprated screws giving a higher outer/inner diameter ratio, and therefore a greater volume for applications calling for a high processing volume. The new MEGAvolume PLUS machine retains the high screw volume design, but Coperion has increased the specific torque from 8·7 to 11·3 Nm/cm³, equalling the performance of the MEGAcompounder.
